In 1993 Kelly Davis came through the doors of Chester Co-op Preschool. She is married and has two adult sons and one granddaughter. She previously worked at the Lakeland Community College Preschool. She was looking for a small family-oriented preschool to teach at and that is exactly what she found. Ever since, the parents and little children of Chesterland and the surrounding area have found in Kelly a dynamic, caring, no nonsense teacher who pushes down any door necessary to create an environment for children to grow and learn well. Most families come to our school because someone told them that Chester Co-op has the best teacher ever. There are no bells and whistles, just creativity and a deep desire to create a place where each child becomes an independent and joyful learner. From egg hunts and circle times to field trips and Parents Night Out, our steadfast teacher never stops thinking of ways to support our children and this school.
Julia Warhoic
In 2021, Julia Warhoic started her career with Chester Co-Op as the Teacher Assistant. She is single, lives at home with her parents, and two rescue dogs. After graduation Julia furthered her education by attending classes at Starting Point where she earned her Child Development Associate Certificate. Julia previously worked at a facility in Solon, but as an alumni of Chester Co-op, it was our pleasure to welcome her "back home". In her spare time, Julia volunteers at the Geauga County Board of Developmental Disabilities in the Metzenbaum Center. There, she volunteers both in the classrooms, and at many different community events. She also enjoys CrossFit, and both riding and jumping horses - especially her current mount, Lucy.
